Definition:

Sagging is a manner of wearing ones trousers so that the top of his undergarments would show. And even more grossly, women also do this. Wearing low rise so their thong would show,this style is called "whale tail" for women.

History

Not many people know but this style originated in the jails. 

First,because convicts were prohibited to have belts and so the guards would know that the prisoner didn't have any weapons on him. But people are may also be ignorant to know that this was a way to show other convicts that they were gay.

Now let me just say, this style isn't just a Black thing okay. Every race, color and ethnic group has adopted this style. 

Not only Black people go to jail and are the main ones who brought this style outwith them. Again, many different types of people go to jail and decided to adopt to this style along with

Advantages from Style

The one advantage to this is that any young lady like myself can decipher who and who isnt a mature young man. When a boy has truly grownup from boyish tendencies then you can tell from their wardrobe.
