I know I know its not Marvel Monday but 

when I learned about this new movie by Marvel I

had to talk about it tonight.

Cast & Characters

Peter Quill aka Star Lord

Peter Quill was born in Colorado 

and he is 1/2 human 1/2 Spartoi

Actor: Chris Pratt

Rocket Raccoon 

Rocket Raccoon was part of a group of animals

who were left behind from a group of humanoid aliens that 

were conducting a psychiatric facility. Before the humanoid aliens left, they built robots to watch after patients and before the robots left they genetically engineered the animals to protect the patients.

Actor: Bradley Cooper

Groot

Groot is from Planet X and also part 

of its own royalty. Eventually after being captured and beaten by Hulk, Beast along w/ a few other heroes captured Groot. Groot was later captured again by Area 13 a section of S.H.I.E.L.D, and given the option to basically join the good side or face the consequences. He joined the good side and eventually down the road joined The Guardians.

Actor: Vin Diesel

Gamora

Gamora origin is Zen-Whoberis, who were

peaceful people. Gamora's people were captured and killed. She was then adopted by Thanos who trained her in martial arts.

Actor: Zoe Saldana

Drax the Destroyer

Drax used to be a human named Arthur Douglas. His family was killed by Thanos, Kronos found Arthur and turned him into a superhuman, eventually named Drax.

(And Yes this is the same 

Thanos that adopted Gamora)
