Halloween For Your Body Type

Apple Body Type-Fiesta
Apple: Harley's Fiesta

This particular outfit is inspired by the DC character Harley Quinn. I started off with the black and red crop top which is meant to accentuate the models arms. The flare leg jeans are ideal for an Apple shaped model. Along with the vertical line in the pants, drawing the eye down. These jeans also accentuate the small of her waist as do the black and red crop top. I decided not to add on a belt to this outfit particularly because the top part of the jeans does the job of the belt. The top of the jeans target the waist, which will then highlight the models waist also.

Round Body Type-Rose Quartz
Round: Felicia Rose

This look inspired for the Marvel character Felicia Hardy who is also Black Cat. This is a modern up to date look on Ms. Hardy, compared to her late 70s early 80s look. For the round body type, you should highlight the arms and back. This is the reason why the, no sleeve blouse was chosen. The Rose Quartz skirt is above the knee and also accentuates the waist. So my thought is of her tucking in the blouse to her skirt, which will then have the blouse skim the models body highlighting her midsection. The heels that I chose will also cause focus to her legs, lengthening them.

Petite Body Type- Buttercup
Petite: Buttercup Cat

Petite shape is inspired by a younger cat woman who is highlighted in the show Gotham on FOX tv. The color focused here is Buttercup, which is everything yellow in the picture. Cat is a orphan street girl, who is known for stealing. So because of this I thought the black shorts, crop top and boots would be the best option for this costume activity wise. This costume is also put together to influence the models curves and legs. The crop top accentuates the waist and lengthens the arms. The shorts lengthen the legs but also highlight the waist. Lastly, having the gathering of Buttercup influenced jewelry gives a bit of unbalance to the outfit, but was meant to add to the costume story line.

Pear Body Type-Fiesta & Serenity
Pear: Lois Fiesta

Lois Lane is the inspiration behind this outfit. This is a business casual outfit meant for a Pear shaped woman. With a Pear shape you should always look to highlight and focus on the shoulders, torso, waist, minimizing the hips and adding volume to the upper body. These particular pants give attention to the small waist because of the belt that is paired to the pants, while also de-emphasizing the hips. The white slacks also carry the eyes downward to the pointy heels which both elongates the legs. This fiesta jacket adds volume to the top half of the models body, minimizes the hips and shows off the shoulders.

Hourglass Body Type- Lilac Grey & Serenity
Hourglass: iZombie Greay Serenity

This outfit is influenced by the DC character iZombie, which now airs on CWtv. This outfit is meant to be very casual simple street wear. The character this ensemble is based on is a zombie and she does not dress to impress. An hourglass figure is very straight forward, you simply highlight on the curves of the model. Even though this outfit is not meant to cause obvious attention, it still highlights the models waist line and shoulders. The Serenity or blue necklace is long and this is meant to draw the eye downward which will then cause you to notice the curve of the model.

Supergirl & Lucifer

I posted 2 of DC's new show trailers under BITK.
and they actually seem pretty good. I mean I was a bit hesitant on the Lucifer series but the storyline of it does actually seem really good.

The Lucifer series has a twist to it that I dont think anyone thought that a show based on the Devil would be about.
[I guess unless you've read the comics]

He actually leaves the underworld and eventually meets a girl who later gets shot which leads him to wanting justice for her....-___-
Which is totally a bunch of massive century old crud.
Hahaha, in this life The Devil cares nothing for anyone, so guys/gals don't take this to the head.

Second is the Supergirl series and ehhh...the trailer didn't get me hyped up at all. I mean its honestly not that far from the Smallville series from what I can tell. It looks like its shot the same way, the concept like the feel of the whole series just exudes a bit of Smallville.
Also, whoever designed her costume needs to be handcuffed and escorted off the premises. I mean seriously its not flattering at all...Out of all the deviant art  images that you could have found inspiration from you came up with this?!

*sigh* I dont know...bt you can catch this show
Monday, Oct. 26th on CBS.

But you be the judge and tell me your thoughts
on these 2 shows! =]

11 Upcoming DC Movies

DC has 11 movies that they are working on. In my opinion people shouldn't try and compare the DC movie universe to Marvels movie universe. Even though I sometimes find myself doing just that. But what people must realize is that comparing and contrasting what movie or tv universe is better it takes away from actually enjoying the movies. Because you may just find yourself critiquing the entire film.

Now that you have this in mind I wont to
let you all know that there a total of 11 DC movies.
