Boy Meets World but now there's a Girl?

So I am excited to say that there will be a Girl Meets World!

Yes, remember the iconic and legendary show Boy Meets World that we all grew up watching?
 Well looks like Ben Savage, who played in the early 90s show as Cory Matthews announced on his Twitter that there will be a new spin off show. This has been in the works for about 2 yrs I have learned but it looks like its finally going to happen soon.

The cast for sure will include Topanga aka Danielle Fishel as of course Cory's wife and their  two kids. Their daughter Riley will be the main character, played by Rowan Blanchard with her best friend Maya played by Sabrina Carpenter. 

I am very sure that Rider Strong who played Shawn Hunter and Will Friedle who was the high-larious Eric Matthews will make an appearance in the show at sometime, but they are not definite additions. But I am sad to say that Mr. Feeny will not be making an appearance.

Sometimes that are shows that say they are in the works but you eventually hear that they have been cut by the network and never filmed. But Mr.Savage says that this is a definite show that is already in the works and will for sure be premiered later this year, I'm thinking sometime this Winter or Fall.
I am hoping that this show is a total hit and will eventually become a legend as the original.
